This book follows Lea and Lexi, two black German Shepherd sisters, who live with their Daddy-person, a kindhearted tow truck driver, and their Mommy-person, who fills their home with warmth and love. Every day, the dogs dream of joining Daddy-person on a rescue adventure in his bright yellow tow truck. The excitement begins when their Daddy-person surprises them with their very own bright yellow safety jackets that have their names ‘Lea’ and ‘Lexi’ in big black bold letters across the back of the jackets so the girls will be sure to be safe when they go out towing!
The family that is in trouble on the busy highway has two little girls in the car, whose names are Ella and Veralinn. The two frightened little girl’s fears turn into bunches and bunches of giggles and smiles as Lea and Lexi lovingly cover the girls with lots and lots of doggie kisses and snuggles!

Alexa’s love for all of her ‘furry friends’ has inspired her to own and operate a successful pet boarding and grooming facility, as well as a gourmet pet bakery. She has also enjoyed being a breeder of AKC Registered Yorkshire Terriers. Alexa lives with her husband and their three very spoiled ‘girls’ Lea, Lexi and Lyndi Lemon.
